"Dharma" is a Sankrist word with different meanings, but in this occasion, we primarily use it in the meaning of the teachings of the Buddha or "Buddha-dharma". Perhaps the shortest dossier Shakyamuni Buddha himself gave of his teachings is:
"Suffering and the path to end it".
